Ron Estep

Ron H. Estep - Prior to the formation of Sunstone Mortgage Capital, Ron spent over 9½ years as a Senior Vice President in the Real Estate Finance & Servicing Group at LNR Partners, Inc. the largest special servicer in the United States. Since joining LNR in 2004, he managed a team of up to 16 asset managers, 4 analysts and other support personnel, who were tasked with the management and resolution of non-performing loans, approval of servicing requests on performing loans and in the underwriting of securitized loans for new CMBS investments. During his time with LNR his team resolved over 2,700 loans, with a principal balance in excess of $20.0 billion. From 2001 to 2004 Ron served as the Managing Director for the Asian operations of a Joint Venture between Merrill Lynch Global Investments and Ocwen Federal Bank. In this position Ron was responsible for establishing and managing offices in Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan and the Philippines, that were tasked with originating, servicing and resolving Merrill Lynch's assets, along with other investment bank's assets, in those countries. Ron transitioned to this position from his duties at Ocwen Federal Bank where he was a Senior Manager overseeing the management and resolution of all non-performing loans, equity investments and other assets from 1999 to 2001. Prior to joining Ocwen Federal Bank in June of 1999, Ron was the Manager of the Loan Workout and Bankruptcy Department of Wilshire Financial Services. From 1990 to 1996, Ron worked for the Resolution Trust Corporation, as the Manager of the Southwest Regions Special Workout Asset Team for the Resolution Trust Corporation where he was responsible for the successful resolution of problem loans and assets of special interest with balances of $10 million to $245 million. Ron also acted as Ombudsman for the Southwest region of the Resolution Trust Corporation and as Special Assistant to the Director. Prior to the Resolution Trust Corporation, Ron was a Regional Manager for the FCB of St. Louis, with responsibility for the resolution of all classified assets in excess of $1 million. As part of an acquisition by the FCB of St. Louis, Ron was appointed Chief Operating Office of the Federal Land Bank of Jackson (Mississippi), which had $1.2 billion in assets. Prior to the FCB of St. Louis Ron was a Senior Asset Manager for Western Washington Production Credit Association for three years, resolving non-performing loans and real estate with balances up to $27.0 million. Prior to WWPCA Ron was employed by the Federal Land Bank of Spokane as an Asset Manager. Ron has over 30 years of experience with loan origination, real estate, equity investments and loan workout experience.

Ron currently resides in Dallas, TX and holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Science Degree from Washington State University.

Waylon Grubbs

Waylon Grubbs - Prior to the formation of Sunstone Mortgage Capital, Waylon was a co-founder and partner in Sunstone MH Consultants, the largest independent manufactured housing focused brokerage firm in the country, where he has worked for 3 ½ years. Since April of 2010 the firm has sold over 81 communities totaling 18,260 spaces for $290.0 million. He is also currently licensed under the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLO) as a mortgage loan originator.

Prior to creating Sunstone, Waylon spent 6 years with Marcus & Millichap, where he closed over 50 transactions totaling more than $100,000,000. Waylon represented some of the industries' largest operators as well as a number of local and regional operators in various markets. He was promoted to Associate Director of NMHCG in 2009. Before Marcus & Millichap, Waylon held a Series 7, 63, and 66, while he was employed with Smith Barney as a financial consultant, specializing in options trading.

Waylon resides in Dallas, TX and received his degree at Lamar University in Beaumont, TX with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing.

Bob McBroom

Bob McBroom - Prior to the formation of Sunstone Mortgage Capital, Bob was a co-founder and partner in Sunstone MH Consultants, the largest independent manufactured housing focused brokerage firm in the country, where he has worked for 3½ years. Since April of 2010 the firm has sold over 81 communities totaling 18,260 spaces for $290.0 million.

In 2007, prior to forming Sunstone MH Consultants, Bob relocated his family from Sydney, Australia to Chicago, Illinois to develop a national platform for the Manufactured Housing/Recreational Vehicle Group at CB Richard Ellis (CBRE). Prior to CBRE Bob helped manage and operate a large caravan park portfolio in Australia, with the Hampshire Property Group. Also while in Sydney he owned and operated a franchise mortgage company Capital Trust. In 2004, prior to his time in Australia, 2004, he lived in Chicago where he acted as the National Sales Manager of Cambridge Protection Services, an electronic security company. After 18 months of consolidation it was sold to Tyco for just over $1.0 billion. Prior to Cambridge, Bob was the National Sales Manager for Signature Security Company which operated in both Australia and New Zealand. Bob has had direct and indirect involvement the Caravan Park Portfolio since his initial arrival in Australia in 1997.

Bob currently lives in Park City, Utah and holds a Bachelors of Business Administration degree from the Texas Tech Rawles College of Business.

Kolman Bubis

Kolman Bubis - Prior to the formation of Sunstone Mortgage Capital, Kolman was a co-founder and partner in Sunstone MH Consultants, the largest independent manufactured housing focused brokerage firm in the country, where he has worked for 3 ½ years. Since April of 2010 the firm has sold over 81 communities totaling 18,260 spaces for $290.0 million.

Prior to creating Sunstone MH Consultants, Kolman worked at Marcus & Millichap for over 5 years focusing on brokerage of MH properties. Kolman assisted clients with fine-tuning their investment strategies, property disposition, and sourcing new investment opportunities.

Kolman is originally from West Palm Beach, FL and currently resides in Chicago, IL and attended Indiana University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Finance.

Stefan Krizsa

Stefen Krizsa - As a Financial Analyst, his role consists of analyzing property operating statements and rent rolls, underwriting using various financial models, and performing market research for the preparation of marketing packages.

Prior to Sunstone, Stefen worked as a Securities Research Analyst for nearly 2 years at Sabino Investment Management, LLC, a small investment management firm in Tucson, Arizona. He gained experience in analyzing financial statements of publicly-traded companies across several industries as well as initiating global economic research. He used proprietary fixed-income and equity models to monitor investment feasibility. He was also responsible for making investment recommendations to assist in final portfolio allocation decisions. In addition, Stefen has passed all three levels of the CFA Program and will be eligible for the CFA charter upon completion of the required work experience.

Erin Stevenson

Erin Stevenson - As a research coordinator her role consists of market research for the preparation of marketing packages and database management. Utilizing demographic software and various websites she is able to assist the brokers in painting a picture of the individual markets they conduct business. She is in constant contact with municipalities and chamber of commerce offices researching Mobile Home Parks.

Prior to Sunstone, Erin worked at the Denton County Tax Office as a Deputy Clerk/Attorney Liaison for 2 years. Her primary responsibility was Attorney Liaison where she assisted the county attorneys in the Tax Office by coding the accounts for lawsuits, researching causes and completing affidavits. In addition, she reviewed and notarized important documents for the law offices and those issued by the Tax Office, to include documents pertaining to the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs. As a Deputy Clerk she collected and processed property taxes, provided customer service, answered phones and helped with the day to day operations of the office.
